STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES

We believe the strength of our nation lies with the Individual, and that each person’s dignity, freedom, ability, and responsibility must be honored and protected.

We believe that America was founded on the Judeo-Christian principles of life, liberty, property rights, hard work, personal responsibility, and accountability.  

​

We believe that the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights and enumerated powers should be interpreted literally as handed down by the Founding Fathers.   

​

We believe government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.

​

We believe the most effective, responsible, and responsive government is the government closest to the people.

​

We believe the proper role of government is to provide only those critical functions that cannot be carried out by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which governs least and limited to those activities expressly delegated by the people within the state and federal constitutions.

​

We believe in the right of every child to be born.

​

We believe in the right to life from conception to natural death.  

​

We believe the right to self-defense is a fundamental human right.

​

We believe that marriage is a sacred institution between one man and one woman established by God and not the government, thus government has no authority to define or regulate marriage.

​

We believe that free enterprise and the individual initiative have given this nation an economic system second to none in the world. Government over-reach and over-regulation must not be allowed to limit free enterprise.

We believe that Americans should value and preserve their feelings of national strength and pride in our history and promote a brighter future.

​

We believe that a sound fiscally conservative policy based upon a balanced budget should be our goal.

​

We believe that America is a sovereign Nation and that our Freedom and Liberty must be protected by each generation. We believe that we are a nation of Immigrants, and that legal immigration must be protected and illegal entry into America in wrong and our borders must be made secure. We believe it is not our place to be the global police, global charity or global protector.

We believe in equal rights and equal justice for all, regardless of race, religious creed, age, sex, disability, or national origin.

​

We believe that a principle is a Truth, thus it doesn’t change based on culture or society.  

​

Finally, we believe that the Republican Party is the only political party in America which values and promotes these Principles for successful individuals, communities, States, and Nation. We believe that all candidates and elected officials must be informed and reminded of these principles.
